Warsaw State Qualifier

The Jay County Robotics teams went to Warsaw High School at the inaugural Warsaw State Qualifier competition.  We helped Warsaw to set up the event and run the event.  We had another great weekend!

We brought three middle school teams to this event; 1184A, 7515A and 7515B.  The 1184A team, a combined Jay Co middle school teams, finished with a record of 3-2-0 and qualified 9th.  The 7515A team, from West Jay, finished with a record of 2-2-1 and qualified 21st.  The 7515B team, a combined middle school and high school team, finished with a record of 1-4-0 and qualified 33rd. 

There were three JCHS teams competing at this event; 1193A, 1193C and 1193W.  The A team finished with a record of 4-1 and qualified 4th.  The C team finished with a record of 4-1 and qualified 5th.  The W team finished with a record of 3-2 and qualified 14th. 

In the elimination tournament, 1193A partnered up with 1001C from Greentown and 1233C from Crown Point, they won the tournament.  1193W and 7515B joined forces with 1233B and were quarter-finalists, losing to the 1193A alliance in the quarters.  1184A paired up with 323B from Greenwood and 491P from Royal Center, they were quarter-finalists.  7515A paired up with 5003 from Plymouth and 323G from Greenwood, they were semi-finalists, and lost to the alliance of 1193C.  1193C paired up with 1233E and 1233A from Crown Point, they were tournament runners up and lost to the 1193A alliance.

We will be competing at Crown Point in a week.  Stay tuned for updates!
